《美丽乡村演化——跨越时空修复的城乡观察》
The Evolving of the Beautiful Countryside: To observe the urban and rural areas across time and space (2017.07)
从“社会主义新农村建设”到“新型城镇化”，从“一村一品”到“特色小镇”，在一场又一场的改革中，人们不满城市的现状，将乡村视为抵抗市场化的堡垒，视乡村的熟人社会、自给自足式农业经济为灵丹妙药。从这个背景出发，本期反思国家性的城乡关系和经济地理变化，以乡村为鉴，回答一个话题：我们应当如何在乡村展开“城市的自救”。本期课题从建筑与城市规划的视角，从经济地理的视角，从人类学的视角，分别探讨当前乡村发展实践中产生的问题，获取更多不一样的见识。
Over the years multiple slogans has been raised for China’s rural reform – from ‘New Socialist Countryside’ to ‘New-type Urbanisation’, from ‘One Village One Product’ to ‘Characteristic Town’ – all implicating a dissatisfaction of city life and an attempt to turn the countryside into a fortress against commercialisation. Under such framework, the acquaintance society and self-sufficient agricultural economy of the countryside is seen as a panacea. It is in such context that the 79th issue reflects on urban-rural relationships and the changes in economic geography nationwide, drawing insights from rural development to address the topic of ‘self-salvation’ for cities. We will explore the challenges and opportunities of current rural development from various disciplines, such as architecture, urban planning, economic geography, and anthropology.
