以商业综合体为代表的消费活动渗透到当代都市人生活的各个角落，并将城市的功能植入其中，日渐模糊了城市公共空间与商业消费空间之间的界线。本期杂志注意到这种城市综合体中因由城市功能的植入导致的“去商业化”现象，首先由对上海、香港、美国三个不同城市背景下的典型案例的观察出发，试图呈现一种在全球商业开发领域普遍存在的趋势。进而通过对人群类型及生活方式片段式的解析，展示这种趋势背后内在的共性与逻辑。科技作为一个显性手段或将爆发巨大的能量，但限于当前并不明朗的情势，故通过观察当前的技术应用作为基础，进而采用情景化的杂志语言，甚至设计了一个乌托邦式的商业综合体模型，对今后商业空间的发展可能提供指向和提示。
With consumerism permeating every aspect of urban existence, commercial complex has become the ultimate destination for a modern consumer, challenging the distinction between public spaces and commercial spaces. The 78th issue of the magazine is dedicated to exploring the claimed ‘de-commercialisation’ of commercial complex resulting from the integration of urban functions. Starting with a study of typical cases in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and the United States, it seeks to identify a trend that is widely shared in commercial developments globally. Through an analysis of typical population types and lifestyles, it identifies the underlying commonalities and logic of this trend. Additionally, a utopian-style commercial complex model is proposed to provoke inspiration and criticism, opening up a discussion on the future potential of commercial spaces.
