从2008年中国第一条高铁——京津城际通车运营以来,中国正以高速的姿态迈入一个“全民高铁的时代”。在现实中,高铁更像是一个触媒,为各行业的升级以及城市空间发展提供新的机遇,然而真正推动质变的永远是城市与城市产业自身。速度提升带来了国土空间距离的压缩,客流、物流量上升,投资拉动的产业发展势头迅猛,并形成了区域经济层面的显著影响。高铁盛宴催生出了数万亿元的市场蛋糕,新城如雨后春笋般出现,成为地方政府的开发热点。高铁效应的最大化需要多方的配合与支持,区域资源的开放共享、政策的扶持以及经济内生力的提升等都是不可或缺的条件。

 

Since the debut of China's first high-speed railway, the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway, in 2008, the country has ushered in a ‘high-speed rail era for all people’. The high-speed rail has catalysed industrial upgrading and urban development, which has increasingly relied on the cities' inherent growth potentials. By significantly reducing travel times, high-speed rail has effectively shrunk the distances between cities, facilitated the movement of passengers and goods, stimulated capital-driven industries, and had a profound impact on the regional economy. The high-speed rail has also created a lucrative opportunity for new town development, turning it into a focus for local governments. However, to realise the full potential of high-speed rails requires the support and cooperation of multiple stakeholders, as the sharing of regional resources, policy support, and the growth of financial capacity are all indispensable.
