This issue is the sequel of Issue 71, Inner City Regeneration: Community Revitalization Based on Public Needs, with a shifted focus on public participation. Featuring a discussion among scholars from Waseda University and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences on how to integrate humanity into the physical aspects of urban regeneration, this issue also presents cases around the world demonstrating the importance of public participation in city regeneration.
